Media and interview skills training - with EFT

It's great when talents combine unexpectedly isn't it ? Since launching my media and interview coaching sessions a few months back I've completed my level 2 practitioner course for EFT - for the uninitiated thats Emotional Freedom Technique - you can read all about it at http://www.emofree.com/ Anyway what with the media training and all the usual work I do with my website -

I had a client last week who wanted to improve her skills in making presentations to her colleagues and indeed persuading others to her agenda. She was also hoping to hone her interview skills and prepare an excellent CV for when the time was right to apply for other jobs in a different field. We uncovered a few of her core beliefs about herself (we all have them and its incredible how they pop up to bite us in stressful situations !) and then I suddenly remembered EFT and asked if she would like some free EFT thrown in. She was delighted and it was amazingly quick and effective !

Media training session at the NLP conference

My Media Training seminar at the NLP conference was a blast ! What a rocking weekend ! Hi to everyone who attended the NLP conference at Brittania Hotel in Docklands this weekend. I was delighted to be one of the speakers at such a great event alongside some eminent people from the NLP world, sadly I didn't get much chance to hear other seminars and in fact at exactly the same time as I was speaking on - 'How to get yourself in the media - and be effective once you have the opportunity'' I would have loved to be in another seminar on improving your eyesight naturally, based of course on the work of the Bates method which I wrote about in my first book Imperfectly Natural Woman. I fully intend to go back and do those exercises and see if I can ditch the contact lenses !

Anyways my seminar had a fab full house who asked really relevant questions, (including who really IS the old woman on Steve Wright in the Afternoon !!) We also had a heated debate as to whether publicity is ever really BAD publicity and we commented on the latest Gordon Ramsey PR nightmare and past hilarities such as Gerald Ratner ! I look forward to more opportunites to share the inside knowledge on getting yourself in the media, sending the right press release, how to market yourself and deal with tricky questions et al !

Joan Rivers sure does not need any Media Training !

What a amazing guest on Steve Wright in the afternoon yesterday ! It was a joy to interview her. I can't believe shes 77 ( and I'm not referring to the surgery which shes famously very open about ) shes totally on the ball, hilariously funny and witty and literally doesn't care ! A star who certianly doesn't need any media training !

MIke Leigh is on the show this afternoon, I'm a big fan of his films, well and the old TV stuff, looking forward to seeing Another Year, its getting great reviews.
